报告题目：Forestry and forest management in Tennessee and the Southeastern United States

报告内容：The southeastern United States is home to the most biologically diverse forests in the country, and this region is also one of the world’s largest producers of forest products. Report will briefly discuss the southeastern forest types and their species composition, land ownership patterns, management trends, and forest restoration efforts in the region.

报告人简介： Professor C. Ken Smith

2021 – present: Global Professor and Micro-campus Director, University of Arizona, Department of Environmental Sciences. Responsible for coordinating the new University of Arizona microcampus at China’s Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University.

2016 – 2020: Co-chair, Earth and Environmental Systems Department;

2016 – 2019: Assistant Dean, Integrated Program in the Environment;

2011 – 2021: Island Ecology Program.
